Exmoor Game School Fur & Fin Session

This is what The Exmoor Game School is all about - connecting children with their food and where it comes from. With our roots in education both mainstream and special education - we have seen how empowering and of course fun, it can be for children to learn how to prepare and cook their own food.

This session we’ll be using two of the South West’s most abundant, nutritious and tasty game; wild rabbit and Exmoor rainbow trout. We’ll also work together to make a nice lunch to enjoy out of what we prepare.

Afterwards you will have the opportunity to join farmers Amelia & Jason for a family tractor trailer ride (included within ticket admission) to see the highland cows and learn about their organic farm.

As well as the preparation, we will also cover why we might need to cull some animals for example, grey squirrels and crayfish.
